Green Advocate Training

This training and the associated resources are designed for use at community events, food festivals, school fetes, anywhere where people are not rushing. They make it easy to have structured conversations about the environment with passers by. The activity recognises that each person is an expert in their own life, and helps them to identify a Green Action Challenge that they then pledge to do. You help them to identify the resources, knowledge and skills they need to make the pledge achievable.

EE4A recognises that as well as individual action we need structural change if we are going to limit Climate change to 1.5 degrees and stop catastrophic biodiversity loss. This activity is a good opportunity to let people know about campaign groups they can join as well as take individual action.

The activity also provides the general public a chance to ask questions about environmental issues, an opportunity that is not available to many.

EE4A are happy to run training sessions anywhere in the UK. Our mission is to have a Green Advocates stand at every community event in the country! Please get in touch if you are interested.
